Mesh Controls on Beams - yeehhhaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

Thursday August 25, 2011 at 11:20am

Have you ever wanted to add mesh controls to a beam and been disappointed? No longer. I recently discovered this useful capability by accident and was surprised that it quietly slipped into SOLIDWORKS 2011 without any fuss or me noticing in the release notes.

It is easy to use as you would expect. Below is the Property Manager dialogue and a plot showing a control on one beam (the horizontal one).

Enjoy!
