SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2015 - Search Field Enhancement

Thursday October 16, 2014 at 3:38pm
A quick look at the search enhancement in SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematics 2015

SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematics 2015

Just a quick one from me this week (Launch Events are go and are proving extremely popular). I thought I’d share one of my favourite enhancements to the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematics 2015. Electrical design and associated manufacturing data is often database driven, and the new highlight of the search cells has saved me not only time but also cut out unnecessary errors in finding and using components…

As you can see in the image, the search fields in use are highlighted in a band of yellow providing quick feedback eliminating the need re read all of the search criteria.  It’s often enhancements such as these that make the day to day use of the software more user friendly and that really benefit our user community.

If you’d like to see more SOLIDWORKS 2015 enhancements then be sure to sign up for one of our remaining Launch Events here.
